LandGlass and South Korea's JA reach their fourth major collaboration to jointly build the largest smart glass tempering plant in Korea

Recently, LandGlass, a global leader in tempered glass technology, announced a new round of in-depth cooperation with JA, the top player in Korea's architectural safety glass industry. JA has placed an additional order for three LandGlass high-end ultra-large tempered glass production lines, marking the establishment of Korea's first and largest intelligent glass tempering plant focused on ultra-large architectural glass processing. This initiative represents the fourth major milestone in their strategic partnership since 2006.

After its commissioning, the equipment demonstrated outstanding performance, enabling JA's fireproof glass to successfully pass the authoritative KS F 2845:2013 test by the Korean Fire Insurance Laboratory (FILK), achieving the top-tier safety glass standard in South Korea. This quickly boosted market share and further solidified JA's industry-leading competitive edge.

Building on the strong momentum of previous cooperation, JA initiated large-scale capacity expansion investments in 2026, customizing the procurement of three LandGlass high-end

ultra-large tempered glass production lines to precisely meet the demands for oversized glass processing. This batch of equipment is scheduled for delivery in July 2026. Upon commissioning, it will significantly enhance production efficiency and product quality, driving JA toward full industrial chain upgrades and high-quality development while continuously expanding its competitive edge in the market.
